Robert H. Myers (MA ’50) went on to receive a Ph.D.
in Russian and Asian history from Indiana University.
He began his education career in 1945, teaching sixth grade,
and went on to teach geography, history, and Russian language
and work as a counselor at Quincy (Ill.) High School until
retiring in June 1980. He also taught part-time for several
years at Culver-Stockon College in Canton, Mo.
Myers devoted much of his life to world peace through world
law. Always thinking of his classmates who lost their lives
in WWII, he was active in the political process to avoid war
for future generations.
