I am always amazed by how much the College’s alumni, faculty, staff, and students have to give. Our faculty and staff give their knowledge, resources, time, and support to our students who, in turn, go out into the world and share their own gifts and talents. By virtue of their chosen profession, and by modeling a “pay it forward” philosophy, our graduates make a difference in the lives of their students, clients, and patients every day.

The beauty of their generosity is that our alumni, faculty, staff, and students desire only to make the world a better place, one person at a time, and ask for little in return. Any kudos or awards they win are secondary, in their minds, to the change they are affecting in the world.

That’s why it is such a joy to put together a magazine full of stories of the boundless generosity emanating from the College and our associates. It is a delight to be able to recognize all that they do.

I hope that in reading these stories, you will be inspired to find opportunities in your own community to help others and share your many gifts. Be a reading tutor, support a charity that inspires you, or maybe even start your own. Whether you can offer your time, money, resources, or expertise, you can be sure that both you and your community will benefit.

Be a changing force in your world. Recognize those who have given to you and inspire others with your generous spirit.
