Grant and Research Services Center (GRSC)

The College of Education Grant and Research Services Center (GRSC) provides support for grant and research projects, training projects, and service projects in the College of Education. The GRSC:

  • assists College of Education (COE) faculty, staff and students in identifying internal and external funding sources

  • provides information and workshops for COE faculty, staff, and students on grant-related topics 

  • provides support services for the development, implementation, and utilization of research, training, and service projects in the College




















The Grant and Research Services Center recently sat down to talk with Dr. Leslie Schrier and Dr. Lia Plakans, professors in the College of Education's Department of Teaching and Learning. Leslie and Lia received $1.87 million from the U.S. Department of Education for their research project, “EL Bridge: Bridging Academic Content and English-language Learning to Prepare Iowa Teachers for English Learners.”
