The Office of the Dean Graduate Student Travel Award
The Office of the Dean Graduate Student Travel Award covers costs incurred by graduate students in the presentation of their research. Funds may be used toward conference registration, and other conference related travel costs such as transportation, hotel and meal costs. The Office of the Dean Graduate Student Travel Award is supported by the Mary Bywater Cross and Robert Newman Fund and the Edna Jones Johnson Memorial Fund. Apply for the Student Travel Award.
Audrey Qualls Travel Award
The Audrey Qualls Travel Award covers costs incurred by graduate students in the presentation of their research at conferences. Funds may be used toward conference registration and other conference related travel costs such as transportation, hotel, and meals. The Audrey Qualls Travel Award is supported by funding from Iowa Testing Programs. Students may apply for this award once per year. Apply for the Audrey Qualls Travel Award.

Teacher Education Convocation
Twice each year, the College holds a special Teacher Education Convocation specifically for students who have completed their student-teaching semester and are qualified to apply for teacher certification.
Office of Graduate Teaching Excellence
The Office of Graduate Teaching Excellence presents a three-part program (coursework, teaching experience, and a teaching portfolio) leading to a graduate teaching certificate.
