Hercules Lesson ¡V Reflection & Rubric I
would have liked more space and maybe 5-10 more minutes for a better
introductions and conclusions, but overall, I felt that the lesson went
well. The students were very
excited and, for the most part, worked well. One group even started trying their ideas
out. I was pleased to see that they
created their own ideas; however, I also wished that they had used more of the
resources and references. In
addition, some of the students were confused by the instructions on the
handout. If I were to teach this
lesson again, I would rewrite that paper so that they expectations were
clearer. I
also noticed that a few of the students did not want to create something
innovative. I¡¦m not sure how to
help them be more open to new ideas.
I hope that once the presentations begin, they will become more
enthusiastic and creative. We
did have a problem leaving the classroom.
They wanted to leave without helping me clean up. As suggested by my supervisor, I think
that telling them at the beginning that they would need to help clean up before
leaving, would help things run more smoothly. I am looking forward to their presentations! |
